Annette Adams, founder of the Annette Adams School of Dancing

The Annette Adams School of Dancing was founded in 1955 by Annette Adams and is one of the few Schools in the Bristol area which has had a long line of success. The School opened near the Gloucester Road teaching mainly Classical Ballet under the founder Annette Adams.

At the age of seventeen Miss Adams was the youngest Dance Teacher in Bristol to open her School and the youngest to pass her Elementary Exam under the Royal Academy of Dance. Developing and growing, the School soon branched out in Tap, Modern and Jazz. Flourishing under its many dedicated principals, teachers, parents and students.

It has been running in Bristol for the past 67years and still flourishes today. The School has seen many Principals continuing the legacy of Annette Adams. We are proud to have a long and successful history.
