Raising Money for CLIC Sargent

Dear Parents and Students,

Special announcement!

Our fabulous Miss Emma who teaches Senior Modern Classes in our Upper School is raising money for CLIC Sargent by running the London Marathon on the 24th April 2016.

The marathon course is a gruelling 26 miles, 385 yards long, passing through the streets of London from Blackheath to the famous finish line at The Mall.

Miss Emma has been training hard and has set herself a target of raising over £2000 for this worthy cause. CLIC Sargent provides vital emotional, practical and financial support to young cancer patients and families during and after treatment and Miss Emma has shown great dedication to this cause. We are all very proud of her.

To support Miss Emma to reach her target the school has decided raise money by holding a 'Silly Socks' and 'Crazy Hair' week!

'Silly Socks' and 'Crazy Hair' week will commence Monday March 7th until Sunday 12th 2016.

We encourage all students and teachers to participate in this fun event and ask that you donate a minimum of £1.00 or as much as you can give in the buckets provided in your classes for this great cause. You can also donate by visiting Miss Emma's charity page – please click here.

Class photos will be taken and the best (or worst!) dressed classes will be featured in our Summer Newsletter and School Website. So, students, lets get together and create a memorable week showing our support for Miss Emma whilst also supporting this fantastic charity.

I cant wait to see how creative you can be!
